The holidays are now here and in full force and it have been so good to catch up with everyone and see all the new faces during services.
Please remember to put the Sisterhood Tea on your calendar for October 14, 2009.
This is our opportunity to catch up with the year’s events and welcome all new members to the Sisterhood. Also we are able to get a grasp on what we will accomplish over the next year and what you might want to see as well.
Sisterhood paid up is also on the horizon. Keep November 18th,2009 open for another fun evening.
Our big fundraiser of the year is going to be an Art Auction hosted by Marlin Art. This will take place at the temple on November 21, 2009. Please also save that date. We need people in the building to make money. More information will be forwarded soon but please also save that date.
The first College basket was mailed for Rosh Hashanah. If you want your college student to receive one for Hanukah or Purim, please send the information to me by mid October. It is a great way to tell someone you are thinking about them while they are away.
Don’t forget our constant activities. Good and Welfare cards are a phone call or email away. Mojo1701@aol.com is Maureen’s email address or you can call her at (631) 724-6387. The cards are a nice way to say you care at a nominal cost of $6.
Our cartridge return program is so easy. Just bring your used cartridges from your copy and fax machines to the temple and we ship them back. Then the company mails us a donation check for our returns. They also except used cell phones with the charges and boxes and all if you have them. Doesn’t get easier than that! Go Green and help support the Sisterhood!
